Here is a desirable IBM M1 carbine made in 1943. Out of the 6million or so M1 Carbines manufactured, IBM only made 346,500, making this a scarce maker. The barrel is also made by IB< and it is dated 3-43. The stock is a desirable I-cut, with crisp cartouches and nice and legible rebuild marks. The finish on the metal is attractive with the most of the finish loss on the bolt. The bore is excellent with great shine and well defined rifling. No import mark. A very nice and collectible M1 Carbine.
