Here is an excellent Rock Island Armory - NOT Rock Island Arsenal - M1 Carbine, a post-war maker that made their receivers to excellent quality, with military markings with a parkerized finish. The rifle is sporting a World War 2 Stock and Barrel, the barrel being an Underwood dated 11-42 with a nice flaming bomb US proof mark. There is a chunk of wood missing at the rear right of the receiver. The stock is otherwise in excellent condition with a great crossed-cannons cartouche. Comes with oiler and sling and one 30 round magazine. Appears to be import marked. Will make a fantastic shooter!
