Description: This Luger is truly one of kind for CONDITION alone. This G date is likely the NICEST one you will ever see in your years of collecting. The bluing, straw parts, fire blue on the small parts is absolutely in stunning condition. The front and rear straps show virtually no wear at all. Only the slightest holster and storage wear is exhibited on this gun on the high edges. The finest of German manufacturing is clearly seen on a piece as special as this. It's one thing to find a G date in excellent condition, but to find one in mint and almost NEW condition is another grade altogether. The pictures truly don't do this gun justice.
All the parts match on the gun and are pictured. I took the whole thing apart and am not likely to do it again. Please study the photos carefully. I am fairly certain the finish is totally original as it still has the straw parts, fire blued parts, and the appropriate parts in the white, to include the factory white filling in the Gesichert, which yellows over time. There is almost no flaw on this piece whatsoever. The left grip has the unfortunate chip under the safety bar, and is stamped "24", which may be a serial number from another gun, as the color doesn't quite match up to the unnumbered grip on the right side(it is a beautiful red color with no serial number which is correct for G dates). The magazine is not matching which is common, but is a nice wartime E37 magazine with crisp stamps.
This is a truly outstanding Luger, and you will likely never see one in as nice condition as this one. Make sure to check out my other listings.
