This is a very nice Winchester M1 Carbine recently imported into the country by Midway. The condition is overall good, and apparent that it has not gone through a rebuild. The rifle exhibits lots of early M1 Carbine features such as no bayonet lug. I do believe this stock is a replacement stock likely done in Italy after the war. The stock and metal are original finish, showing wear but still serviceable, with lots of life left in the bore.
